The Fatherless and Widows

The Fatherless and Widows

The mission of the ministry is to listen to the needs of the fatherless and widows in our community and respond with practical help that comes from a place in the heart.

The Fatherless and Widows Ministry began in Long Beach Mississippi under the leadership of Charles Wambolt. There are many areas of biblical instruction on how to treat both fatherless and widows and they are almost always found together.

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

Psalm 74:21 Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.

Victor and Mary Kay are the leaders of the Missouri satellite Fatherless and Widows Ministry. We notice that these two groups are often overlooked even though God mentions that they are special to Him in the Scriptures. It is our goal to encourage and assist those who fall in to these two population groups. If you know someone who is a widow, widower or orphan in need of help, please refer them to us so we can provide assistance.
